New Partners Announced for 2009
Hassans International Law Firm is delighted to announce that Senior Associate’s Nyreen Llamas and Colleene Wink (nee Almeida) have accepted invitations to join the firm’s partnership with effect from the 1st July.
Managing Partner, Javier Chincotta stated, “Nyreen and Colleene each bring different attributes to the partnership which will enhance the already wide spectrum of services the firm is able to provide”.
Nyreen is an Honours graduate in English & Spanish Law, from the University of Kent. She also studied at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain and holds the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners’ Diploma in International Trust Management. Nyreen completed the Bar Vocational Course at London’s College of Law and was then called to the Bar of England & Wales and the Gibraltar Bar in 2001.
Nyreen specialises in the field of gaming and has considerable experience of corporate restructuring, finance and commercial transactions. She also has extensive experience advising on private client and trust matters. Recent work has included forming part of the team advising on the floatation of a Gibraltar company on the London Stock Exchange, the restructure of a number of large international groups and advising on gaming, licensing, regulatory and corporate aspects of a number of Gibraltar based entities.
Colleene graduated with an honours degree from the University of Wales, Cardiff in 2000 and completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Centre for Professional Legal Studies in Cardiff. A member of the middle temple, she was called to the Bar of England and Wales and Gibraltar in 2001.
Colleene’s specialises in property law and deals with all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing and has also represented property developers and advised government bodies and lending institutions on property matters. Recent work has included forming part of the team advising on the sale of a large international investment bank, advising in relation to the Eastside project and negotiating and advising in relation to the acquisition of commercial property on behalf of large international corporations.
