The Gibraltar Association of Investment Managers and Stockbrokers ("GASIM")

The Gibraltar Association of Investment Managers and Stockbrokers ("GASIM") is pleased to announce that it has formed a sub-committee to represent the burgeoning fund industry in Gibraltar.

The remit of the sub-committee is to provide a forum for the sharing of views and experiences by fund practitioners. It also will aim to serve as a representative body for the fund industry in consultations on fund legislation and policy.

The members of the committee are James Lasry, Chairman, Nicola Green, Secretary, Trino Cruz, David Wahnon, Adrian Hogg, Justin Brooke, John Bensadon, Carrol Ruffell and Moe Cohen.

GASIM chairman Raymond Joubaud said "We are delighted that the fund industry chose to use the GASIM platform as their representative body. We amended our constitution some time ago to allow fund administrators to join and we recently amended it again to allow other fund practitioners to become members," James Lasry said "The fund industry in Gibraltar has grown by leaps and bounds over the last couple of years and the time has come to create an organisation for fund practitioners to share their experiences in order to ensure continued and responsible growth of the sector."
