A highly regarded litigator, David is experienced in commercial litigation, pre-emptive relief, insolvency, fraud, banking as well as criminal work.

David has advised and appeared as Counsel in courts and tribunals. In the field of insolvency, David has acted for creditors, principally banks, liquidators and companies. He is a member of the International Insolvency Institute.

Whenever possible, David serves as Chairman of the Industrial Tribunal and has contributed to a number of key publications. These include the Gibraltar chapter of 'International Execution of Judgment Debtors', and 'Offshore Financing: Security and Insolvency', published by the Financial Times.

David is Chairman of the Gibraltar Bar Council. He is also Chairman of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme for Gibraltar.

A graduate of Exeter College, Oxford University, David studied law at the Inns of Court School of Law in London and was called to the Bar in 1981. David became a partner in 1987 and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2002.
