Yvonne Chu-Feetham
Yvonne has extensive legal experience in corporate lending, having advised major financial institutions on loan transactions with Gibraltar law governed security, including lending and security structures involving Gibraltar insurers.
She also has expertise in repackaging, funds and structured finance and is frequently asked to advise on the application of Master Agreements for derivatives markets by financial institutions in respect of Gibraltar Counterparties.
She is also involved in the modernization of the Gibraltar Experienced Investors Funds Legislation and has frequently been engaged to advise on the setting up of experienced investor funds, including the use of protected cell companies' structure in Gibraltar.
Yvonne is also the Partner in charge of marine finance and has advised numerous financial institutions in respect of security documentation and structures for the financing of vessels and pleasure yachts.
She is currently actively involved in the development of Islamic Finance in Gibraltar and is working closely with the regulators in this regard.
