Gilbert is a partner in the private client department and specialises in both contentious and non-contentious trusts work.
Gilbert has extensive experience in advising trustees, protectors and beneficiaries as well as creditors on trust matters generally or when engaged in trust litigation whether in Gibraltar or internationally.
Gilbert is regularly involved in applications to the Court in connection with the administration of a trust and in the most hostile trust litigation in a wide range of disputes including disputes between beneficiaries or involving an attack on the integrity of a trust.
Gilbert holds a practicing certificate as a barrister for England and Wales and is instructed to appear before the High Court in London in disputes involving very substantial assets.
